Answer-enforcement layer for LLMs
Stop shipping hedged, evasive, non-answers.
The Enforced Answer Engine sits between your users and any LLM. It detects when a model dodges, hedges, or refuses to directly answer a question; automatically forces a re-ask with stricter instructions; and, only when your own confidence threshold still isn't met, serves a fallback message that you write — including a live contact for sensitive topics you configure per policy. Nothing here is hardcoded copy: every fallback, threshold, and escalation contact is tenant-authored data.
Abstraction protection
Every candidate passes deterministic output rules first, then a separate semantic evaluation pass measures directness and adequacy. Failed candidates are rejected before they can become the released answer.
Forceful automatic re-ask
When a candidate fails, the engine automatically re-prompts with the exact failure reasons, cuts off repeated-output loops, and can fail over through the policy's ordered provider chain — no end-user retry required.
Dynamic, tenant-authored fallback
If no generated candidate clears all configured gates, the engine serves a fallback message you compose per topic policy, with live placeholders like {contact_name} and {contact_phone}; if no fallback exists, it returns a factual system notice instead of rejected model text.
Sensitivity-aware enforcement
Configure explicit direct-answer, adequacy, evaluator-confidence, citation, JSON/schema, phrase, regex, length, grounding, retry, provider-order, and generation controls per policy.
Optional knowledge-source linking
Ground answers in your own text corpus or a Postgres table you link in. External queries are forced into READ ONLY transactions, and connection credentials are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM).
Compliance-ready technical controls
Hashed passwords, TOTP MFA, automatic session expiry, RBAC, encrypted secrets, tenant scoping, and a tamper-evident hash-chained audit ledger provide concrete technical controls that can support a HIPAA/SOC 2 compliance program.
Compliance note: this platform includes technical controls for access restriction, MFA, session revocation, tenant scoping, secret encryption, retention, and tamper-evident audit records. Those controls can support an organization's compliance program, but this software does not determine, certify, or guarantee HIPAA or SOC 2 compliance. Compliance depends on the actual deployment, data flows, contracts, risk analysis, operating procedures, infrastructure, vendors, and any required independent assessment.
